Samsun Müzesi, yöreye has zengin antik dönem kültürel mirası ve yeniden tasarlanan yapısıyla, arkeoloji tutkunlarını büyüleyici bir yolculuğa davet ediyor. Yenilenen konseptiyle kapılarını ziyaretçilerine açan Samsun Müzesi, arkeoloji ve etnografya temalı seksiyonlarıyla 7’den 70’e her yaştan misafirine doyurucu bir müze ziyareti vadediyor. Müze koleksiyonlar içerisinde Helenistik, Roma, Bizans, Selçuklu, Osmanlı ve Cumhuriyet dönemlerine ait eserler yer almaktadır. Ayrıca “Amisos Antik Kenti” buluntuları ve “Amisos Hazinesi” müzenin en önemli koleksiyonlarını oluşturmaktadır.

Samsun Museum promises a satisfying museum visit to its guests of all ages with its archaeology and ethnography themed sections. The museum collections include artifacts from the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, Ottoman and Republican periods. “Amisos Ancient City” findings and the “Amisos Treasure” constitute the most important collections of the museum.
